Is it singlespeed? How’s your “chain line”? Like flip your bike upside down and look at it, when the chain is tight, does it look like a straight line from front sprocket to rear cog?
Check your chain for stiff links and your sprocket/driver for bent or f*cked up teeth that could be catching on your chain. You can also pull the cranks/BB/etc and clean and grease everything before you put it back together, sometimes its just dryness in one of the metal-to-metal contact areas. Cheap pedals have bearings that pop sometimes, try swapping your pedals out with another pair and see if the noise is still there.
If you can't locate the sound somewhere around the BB/drivetrain, don't be afraid to check other parts of the bike that you wouldn't think would be causing issues. I've had mystery noises that sounded like hub issues and ended up being a cracked frame, so you never know. But hopefully a quick check of your chain and a little maintenance is all you need.
