Hey everyone,

Recently moved to Denver and have been having trouble finding guys to ride with. Anyone have any advice where to meet fellow riders? Anything helps! And if you want to ride, let me know!

I live in the north denver metro area. I'm down to meet up and go hit some local trails or trestle. Hit me up sometime.

Hey guys - I just moved here as well. I work in centennial and have been looking for different places to live around Denver that are good biking communities, or close to trails, all around safe/good for bikes, etc.

Can you guys share any input? The goods the bads, the do's the dont's?

Thanks!

Not terribly new to denver, but I'm finally getting a bike again. If the pumptracks are dry, that's where I'll be

Share the trail. There's a constant battle between hikers/runners/bikers. We try to keep it as kosh as possible. We have a plethora of trails in Golden. Just check out mtbproject.com. Uphill has right away. Pay attention to directional days. Don't ride when the trails are soaked, it ruins the trails and people get heated.

I think that's the basics. Private message me if you have any questions or want to link up!

I'm also moving to Golden. Where did the whole "uphill on odd days" rule come from?

Also slight thread hijack, what are your guys favorite MTB (of the more gravity/ enduro focused) shops in and close around Golden?

C3 bike shop is a good one in golden. Pedal pushers is a good one too.

I actually moved away from Golden because of the traffic lol. It changed quite a bit the last decade but still good riding. Pedal Pushers and Big Ring are my favorite. You can get a beer at Pedal Pushers and if Justin or Eric (owner) are there tell them Sam sent you. Should hook it up.

It's downhill on even days on Enchanted because runners/hikers were complaining that we were riding too fast down the trail...which is probably true but there's plenty of trails in Golden that we aren't riding like that. Longhorn and Enchanted are the best descents in the area. Shoot me a message if you have any questions...lived there for years.

Thanks for the info, but luckily nothing matches San Francisco traffic (yeah I'm one of those California aholes coming to ruin CO Razz ). Luckily will be able to ride the rail to work. And I have plenty of other hobbies, to keep me busy on the odd days.

Check out Mojo Wheels. Definitely a downhill oriented shop.

Everyone here is from California or Texas or some other state. No one cares anymore.
