Anyone had this happen to their Jeffsy? It’s 2019 cf pro. I just got back from a fairly muddy ride, and I doubt there was that much flex in the swing arm...right? Thought this was interesting. (Sorry for the Google links)
Almost looks like a rock might have gotten jammed in there.. hard to say what caused it for sure. You probably would have known if the frame flexed like that during your ride.

Yed, it's rocks, nothing to do with flex. Got some too, you can't do much except apply some touches of paint. YT paint is not really strong. Unfortunately on your white frame it's very visible... I guess we have to cope with it, it's only cosmetic, but I know, that sucks.

That’s what I thought. I haven’t noticed anything in terms of how it rides, just cosmetic. That linkage is right in front of the back wheel, which means stuff gets flung in there pretty easily. Oh well, I’m over it.

It's not rubbing, it's small rocks getting projected and sometimes blocked there for a second, and if the rear shock compresses at the «right» time, it scratches the paint. It's annoying but well, it reminded me that those bikes are here to endure and f#ck it, they will take a beating so let's send it, let's shred and have fun
I’m considering selling my al27.5 frame it’s black and teal. Anyone have any guesses of what the fair market value is? It’s in great condition other than some paint rub and scrapes.

Anyone done a 29er up front? Also any pics of the orange cf comp? I know YTs stock images are always off. Cheers
There was a discussion about a dozen pages back or so and someone did try it but if I remember correctly it raised everything up by too much and wasn't a viable long term option

I ran the mullet for a short time on my Jeffsy. In short, climbing was worse and sluggish but the DH was much improved. The improvements were likely attributed to the 29er up front (better rollover and maintained speed). Overall it was a fun experiment but I won’t run it as a long term configuration.
Hey, so I was lubing my chain and noticed some pull on the drive chain when the back wheel was spinning. You can see what I mean on the link below... what’s going on? It’s a cf pro with about 130 miles on it.

You have a sticky / draggy hub. Reassemble or replace bearings will solve the problem.
Anyone know the max dropper insertion depth for an XL 2018 cf pro? Wanting to put in a 210mm oneup dropper which has insertion of 297mm, looks like it might be ok but just wanting to double check before I pull the trigger. Need to get that damn seat out of the way!
Anybody demo a bike they really love or might be their next bike?
Currently riding a 2018 AL, superdeluxe and MRP ribbon coil. I've had it since Sept 2018, upgraded the suspension over the winter, rides pretty good! This was my first bike since I broke my leg in 2005. I never demo'd anything other than riding a Stache around a parking lot and feeling like the jump from 26 to 29 was too much and ultimately bought the Jeffsy based on geometry. Anyway, I've sort of settled in this mode of longer rides, adventure rides, did the Epic Rides OZ 30 a few weeks ago. So wondering if I'm missing something out there from a pedaling platform. I do still like to go fast and ride the tech as well, but having had my big injury I probably won't be doing any drops more than 2' or so and not airing it way out. Bikes like the Tallboy and Ripley have drawn my attention, but hard to separate the brand hype from honest review.
Love my YT! But after a lot of riding over the last year (replaced a chain, e13 cassette half, grips, tires, etc.) I feel like I can better evaluate a bike demo.
