Very much enjoying my Capra.

Very nice! What brakes are those?

The brakes are SRAM guide re. They work well but I think I want to move to Hope brakes soon.

My 2016 Pro Race which I miss quite frankly. Came with me all over the world!

My Pro Race now...think I preferred the older one if i'm being honest...first world problem, still a great bike.

This my new yt capra cf pro race 2017
Been riding for the past week , it's been good ,but I would like to know a base set-up for suspension.
Coming from a DH background with the capra I have to be a little more careful with line choice, but love the jumping agility and the way it gains speed

Hi,

during the lock down I have been building this:

photo

- 2019 27,5 from Outlet
- Fox 34 and DPX2 factory (from a 2019 pro Race)
- Cane Creek 110 headset
- Shimano XT 12 sp, cranks and BB
- Code RSC brakes
- Race Face Turbine R 35 stem and bar
- Wolftooth ReMote seatpost trigger
- DT EX 1501 wheels

The quietest bike I have ever had and heaps of fun. Handy but stable and easy to throw.

Love this thing, still need to set up the forks/shock properly though, feels harsh over small bumps and not great over repeated bigger hits. Today was the first day on dry, properly root infested trails.

A coil is probably in the future for this bike, and a luftkappe and 160mm air shaft...

Switched to a coil. It’s been everything I expected it to be. Rocks, and jumps so far have felt great. Setting up took 2 runs, can tweak setting according to terrain but mostly a set it and forget it as of yet.

you just need a 38 and you'll be ready to bomb haha

Ya YT's are made for coils! anyone not running one is missing out on the capabilties of the bike

Coils work great on the YT's progressive leverage ratios
