I'm 200 lb (90 kg) and ride a Scott voltage FR 720 2016. What spring rate would you recommend for my weight? I currently run a 350/3.25 which is standard for size M. Size L runs a 400 as standard.

The bike is fun and since I do not do very big drops I very seldom get harsh bottom outs. But I get way too many pedal strikes for my liking. Yes, modern bikes are low, but I'm used to that since my trailbike has a BB drop of 35 mm and 175 mm cranc arms, which is OK, but the Voltage is really extreme, I can only pedal on smooth paths withot any rocks at all.

Manuel of that bike says 80-90 kg you should run a 400/3.25 lbs spring.

I have a 2016 FR710 and am about 220 with gear on. Just put a 500lb spring on and the sag is about 23% right now.

23% sag? That's pretty damn stiff.
