Hi.
Three of us Canadians are looking to do a quick trip to a DH park for 2 days of riding. Timeline doesnt permit several resorts this trip, except maybe Thunder Mountain day 1 and Killington day 2. But not ideal.
I have ridden MCBP a few times when it was Diablo. Recent US riding for me is Snowshoe, Whiteface, Highland. Long time ago also smaller places like Timberline, Seven Springs, and Plattekill.
The other two riders, one is excellent dh rider, and instructor in Canada. Much prefers natural dh to pure jump lines. But flow mixed natural and fall line mix is awesome. Capable at Snowshoe and Whiteface on previous trips.
Rider three is very athletic rider, strong xc and trail, with a handful of dh experiences only, not scared or intimidated, but any dh for them is amazing.
Can someone give input into recent riding at Mountain Creek, or Thunder Mountain, or maybe even Klington.
Thanks

Go to Thunder one day and Killington the other day. Huge variety at both good jump lines and tech at both and they aren't that far apart. If you do day one at Thunder you can leave after riding, be at Killington by 6-7pm for dinner and a cheap hotel with lots of options for both. That's how id do it.

Second that trip. You can also ride Killington day one then Highland to really see what NE has to offer...
