And don't give me that "get a fatbike" bullshit. I did. It was mediocre at best. Fatbiking on snow is VERY not the same thing as mountain biking on dirt, and going 4 months without good riding sucks.

Do you ski or snowboard?
Yes. Both, depending on snow conditions. I live in Utah, which has awesome skiing. I've been doing it for 28 years and I'm damn good at it.
I've been biking for 3 years and it fills a hole in my soul that skiing and boarding just don't.
And even though ski season is good, biking is better and winter is still its worst part.
Strong Wind. Pedaling against it. Up or down a hill. Freezing to death. Going out in the rain and snow is fine until there's a wind and it just sucks the heat out of you so much. Not being able to hear a dam thing. Not being able to see your eyes are streaming so bad. Pushing your wheels from under you and sending you off a cliff.
Climbing! Especially in this heat we've been having in the USA. It's been getting well over 100 degrees (38 celsius) lately. The other day it was 118 at my home in California. (That's 48 for anybody making the conversion!)
