Yeah I thought it would be the same but its not. Sram nx is 12 speed not 10 like the shimano deore that comes on the bike so I believe that would be one of the reasons. I do have an issue though, i do not live anywhere near a Giant dealer here in Brazil. I could order one but I would like to know which part number it is. I contacted Giant on their global website and they suggested i bought an extension to attach to my current hanger (part number 27335) but i would like to have just the one piece and less work overall. Kind of disappointed in Giant for doing this,hangers are already a pain in the ass so why make 2?

there is two derailleur hangers. One is specifically for Shimano direct mount deraileurs, The other is for Shimano and Sram standard deraileurs. you could order the standard one here.
