Hi,

I'm in need of a heavier spring for my ohlins rear shock on my 2018 Enduro29 Elite

I'm 100kg (220 lbs) and currently have the 548 spring which when fully preloaded gives me about 34% sag. Ideally I want 30% sag without the spring being fully preloaded (wound tight).

The reccomended spring rate for me is 571, but I'm not sure if that'll be heavy enough. Should I be looking at the 605 instead?

I dont have the luxury of trying each size before purchase so I'd love to hear from others with how much you weigh and what spring rate you are running.

Cheers.

I'm probably just over 200 riding weight. I've been very happy on a 548 on my Enduro. You want to find a spring that you don't preload, winding it all they way down just adds harshness on the trail. My 2 cents would be go for the 605.

I'm 220 and run the 571 spring. I'm right at 30% sag, with a an extra turn on the collar.

At 220 lbs how does the climb switch work on th Öhlins coil? Does it firm it up really well or do you squish in the travel a lot while climbing? I have a rockshox rc3 & I am looking for something that climbs better but not a whole new bike
