I have a Felt Decree 30 (2017) and recently I've got several paint chips on my rear triangle. They're just paint and should be nothing to worry about, but I just want to know how common is this and are the newer frames equipped with different kind paint job that doesn't chip off that easily?

And a other thing is, that is there any possibility to get a new rear triangle, if it happens that the chainstay would snap?

Paint chips are extremely common. If its something that bothers you, then you are better off to apply some type of frame protection when the bike is new.

Paint chips are almost always cosmetic. I wouldn't worry too much about needing to source a rear triangle.

that said, frame spares become increasingly more difficult to source as time goes one. Manufactures have a very limited supply, and if its a part that commonly breaks on a particular year/model, the used market wont have much to offer.
