Hi All, just picked up a 2018 Element and was wondering what others are using for frame protection? Element has zero downtube and BB protection and I want to cover it up before any damage.

It looks like the 2019 model has padded protection. I wonder if it would fit your 2018 and what RM would charge for it. I have no protection on my older Element or Altitude, but not many rocks where I ride. The Altitude clears all the logs and rocks, but my Element occasionally hits. It is 3x9, so the 44t ring acts as my bash.

Rocky does have a stick on BB protection kit. I ordered it from their website.

I use this textured tape, it's like a non-grit grip tape. Did the chainstay and downtube. Won't do much for big hits but flying rocks etc it'll help.

What model is it? I have a 2018 Element C-50 and it came with protection. You should check with the shop you got it from.
