I just bought my 2017 Fuel EX 27.5 plus 9.8 and I am getting alot of ground strikes with my pedals. I changed the way I ride but still hit alot. Coming from a Remedy that rarely hit because of the BB height it's a big adjustment

I am running the non slack mino link and using Forte Convert pedals. I was thinking smaller pedals would help.

Other than going to smaller crank arms any advice?

Air pressure in shock is ok. Currently running 18 psi in tires.

Unfortunately, the only thing that worked for me is 29" wheels. I have the aluminum frame and I have to be very cautious with 27.5 wheels on. I remember reading the carbon frame has slightly lower BB, so it may be worse for you. I had a bad crash when I struck a rock with all my weight on one pedal. I was considering selling the bike until I got the 29" wheels. Picked up some take-off sun ringle durocs on craigslist and have been happy. Running a 2.6" XR2 up front for long rides, DHF 2.5" for aggressive.

Moving to 29" wheels would certainly help, or going for a shorter crank arm length.

If you want to keep the 27.5" wheels, I highly recommend crank boots. I run them on my Stache as I hit rocks more often than I want because I am a goon... lol
