Best tires for Colorado Rockies?

HI, What would be some good tires to run Riding in dry Colorado? I usualy ride Hall Ranch, and have had completley different experiences depending on the tire. I am now running the Conti X-Kings, Which are amazing, they have good traction and low rolling resistance, but I'd like to mix things up a bit.
Constraints:
-26"
-Current rims have an internal width of 21mm I believe.
