Ladies and Gents,

Be careful where you begin and end your rides on trailforks/strava. A fellow rider I know had his bike stolen out of his garage. He suspects that thieves may be finding where our pricey bikes are by using these apps to look at logged rides that originate at houses. If you ride from your house, I suggest starting your logged ride at an unassuming location down the street, or the house of a neighbor you despise. Not sure if this is common knowledge, so just a quick suggestion to my fellow riders.

EDIT- Turn on privacy zone feature on both apps to avoid highlighting your home

Indeed, but both sites also have privacy zones you can set up. So other people can't see where you start/end your rides close to home.

Excellent point, Jenstin, thanks. I wasn't aware of this privacy zone feature, which is a great feature that seems to be underutilized, at least in my area.

When you have set your private zone, is it possible to
- batch recalculate all your ridden trails?
- view your private zone activities?
