just picked up a bike with a silver 30 solo air with remote.

I hate the lever on the bar. Is it much work to switch to manual level. I rarely ever even use lockout.

If i just remove the cable will it stay open?

needs a new damper with the turnkey lever.
the remote damper is spring loaded.
dis-assemble the remote, cable and housing. If the fork is in lockout mode after that, cut a small length of housing then insert cable thru it and rotate the lockout cap to open and anchor it by the anchor bolt.
