Hey guys!
I'm thinking about getting one of these as a next bike. I'm currently on a mk1 YT Jeffsy 29, had a 2012 Stumpy 26 Evo before that, love both of these bikes, especially for their nimbleness.

I like the overall specs on the Evo, however one thing that has me scratching my head is the HA. It is 3° slacker than what I'm used to which makes a huge difference, especially since as mentioned one of the merits i like most about the current/former bike is the nimbleness.
I mostly ride natural, flowy singletrack, some steep but flatter terrain also.

What bikes did you guys come from and how does the Stumpy Evo compare?

btw I would just go and test it but the LBS don't carry any Evos, sadly..

I came from a DH background so riding with the front wheel 2 feet out in front is no great change. It's something you will adapt to quickly. The first downhill section it will all make sense.

I ride it a lot of flat terrain and it's fine. Pedals uphill great as well.

Yeah, looks great. Did you happen to weigh it? My alloy S3 weighs 14.8kg.

Almost ready to pull the trigger, but not sure which size to get being 5'8. Any recommendations on s2 or s3?

@Grammyx - Sweet looking bike! What's your height?

I am 5 foot 8 , I ride an s2 27.5 and it really fits me well , The reach lengths are different between the wheel sizes ,I would say that a little long is better than a little short

I’m just about to order a 29er Pro, I’ve asked Spech to swap out the GX groupset for XX1 and increase travel to 160.

I’ve swung a leg over both sizes in the carpark but still unsure which to go for. Demo bike not available until May !

That is fat as you-know-what mate.
Is the rear triangle carbon or ally?
