Hi there is there any way I can convert my xtr qr hubs to accept 20mm and 15mm through bolts ? Any thoughts to save me buying new wheels and brakes for new frame
i don't believe you can make the hub fit a wider axle because thatwould adjust the hub shell on the inside. and for the brakes why do you think you would need to replace those?
XTR hubs are not convertible in any meaningful way. There are several hub makers who make convertible hubs. Most make a dh size 20x110 and 12x150/157, super boost at 20x110 and 12x150/157 (I know they sound the same but they aren't, well kinda), a boost size 15x110 and 12x148 and a standard hub that will run 9x135/15x100/20x110 and 10x135/12x142. Most of these will come with 6 bolt or centerlock rotor mounts. You will need new wheels; the brake rotors are a tossup.

Which model/gen XTR hubs are you running? If the are M9000 series, than yes they can be converted to TA.
