I'm looking for a used bike, I've seen some Fuel 9.7/9.9 models but the sizes might not be quite right. I'm 6 foot tall and the advertised bikes are 18." and 21.5" frames which is either size of what Trek suggests. Any opinions out there, I feel cramped on the bike I ride just now so maybe a longer reach on the 21.5 would be OK.
Any opinions out there?

I am 6'1" - 6'2" I rode the 21.5" frame.

I tried the 19.5" and the top tube was really really tight.

I am 6' tall and rode a 2017 Fuel EX in size 19.5". I now ride a 19.5" Slash. According to the Geo charts on Trek's website the Fuel has a slightly longer reach than the Slash. I think 19.5" is your size.

I have a 9.8 EX 29er I'm 5 '11 and very comfy on a 19.5 with a 50mm stem on it. I also ride a 19.5 Slash as well.

Just picked up a used 2016 EX 9.8 in 18.5" and is great for my 5 10" build.
I wouldn't want it any taller, so at 6 ft I'd be tempted to go for the bigger one.

You may be able to make the 21.5 work with a shorter stem, but I would not get the 18.5. Being 6ft you should really be looking at the 19.5 and nothing else.
