Looking to get a Mach 5.5 this spring, but trying to figure out the sizing. I'm 5'6" with a 30" inseam and let's say average arms for my height. I currently ride a size M Norco Sight, and looking at the size M Mach 5.5, the reach is 12.9mm longer, and the Size S Mach 5.5 is 17mm shorter than my Sight.

Personally, I am thinking of throwing a 40mm stem on the size Medium Mach 5.5, which will bring the bike to almost the same reach as the Sight, but I'm curious as to what others have tried.

My question is, are there any other vertically challenged people riding the 5.5? What frame size did you end up with?

I’m a hair over 5’9” and medium with stock stem is a perfect fit.

I'm 5'5" with a smaller inseam than you and went with the small. Sometimes it feels like I could use more reach, but not when I'm on tight single track. I also have a size small 2014 Norco Range. They are almost identical in geometry. If I were you and felt like you could use more reach on your Sight, then go the Pivot. If the Sight is feeling big, go small.

Get the medium. I’m the same size as you and was able to demo a medium and it fit perfect. My old bike was a medium sight carbon.

I'm 5' 7" and my medium feels a hair small, I really prefer bigger bikes but take that for what it's worth.
