What size allen key for Avid brake lever?

What size allen key for Avid brake lever?

its on an avid hydraulic disk brake - but its just the lever.. i tried a 3mm fits but is loose and small.. a 4mm is too big and does not fit,,, any clue what is standard for that??
i tried all hex keys on my multi bike tool and 3mm is only one that fits..

If 3mm is too big shouldn’t you try 2.5 or 2mm....

It might be Imperial sizes rather then metric.

a 3mm fits bit is a bit small and feels like it will strip the bolt.. the 4mm is too big and wont fit.. its a standard avid brake,, on a norco aurum,,, arent those brake lever bolts standard? could my 3mm hex be worn out??

its a torx t25... did not see that.. looked like an allen key.. weird.. good thing thats on my bike multitool
