Used carbon wheelset. Wheels are the single biggest upgrade you can get, in my opinion.

maybe some brakes and a nice new helmet/safety gear? it often gets overlooked when in "upgrade" mode.

don't upgrade anything, keep saving, and get a sick bike
*edit if you really want to buy something, get some sick wheels, I just picked up an i9 hub laced to an ex511 rim for 500 USD, so if you look around on crc or pinkbike, there are deals to be found
