Yeah? I used to be one.

Ok, so say 20 odd people put $50 in, how much of your, as a lawyer, time would that $1000 (£800) get, 3, maybe 4 hours? What could you achieve in that time, given the directors aren’t personally liable, and the company has no money.

Also, the Directors are personally liable in a range of circumstances.

I doubt there’s enough money in them for people to get their bikes, but you could at least visit comeuppence upon them.

The ultimate irony would be a crowd funding page for this.

People have been saying ‘it may just...’ for nearly a year. Someone should just do it.

I'd put something in. I don't like seeing fellow cyclists lose money like this.

From Companies House:

“Dear Sir / Madam,

Thank you for your email.

Companies House can only assist with issues that involve forms being filed at Companies House.

The function of Companies House is to incorporate and register companies.

Companies House has no investigatory powers and is unable to investigate allegations of fraud, misconduct, or irregularity in the company's affairs.

If you suspect fraudulent activity you should report the details to the police.

Companies House works closely with various law enforcement authorities by providing them information when they need assistance with their inquiries.

Alternately, if your complaint is about the conduct of a company or its officers you should contact The Insolvency Service

You can make a complaint if you have reasonable grounds to suspect a currently active company of:

• causing significant harm to customers, suppliers, etc
• breaking the law, eg fraud
• serious misconduct, eg company assets have not been used properly
• having a significant irregularity in its affairs

Contact details are as follows:

The Insolvency Service

Online complaints form

You can also complain in writing.

Did you object striking off action? you cant do this till accounts are filed late and an application for striking off is raised

https://www.gov.uk/object-to-a-limited-company-being-struck-off

You are a creditor , you have the right to object as you are owed money

Companies House cannot allow the striking off to proceed if enough people oppose the striking off.

They wont help you complain about a company however or investigate fraud.

Definitely email the Insolvency service however , just to make the twats lives miserable and linger longer.

Honestly did they ever make anything that was better than Ragley frame? I was going to say Voodoo Bizango. Oh well.

Money better spent on a Moxie frame though. That is a real bike.

It's not stopping them running other businesses. So it seems they will come out of this unscathed. Jordan has I nice new tattoo studio thanks to the investment of cyclists.
