Still no refund but they definitely have recived my small claims letter by now. And technicaly have around 2 weeks to respond and pay up before I can ask for a cort jugement etc ... so will see if that works

Maybe your refund will be a few boxes of cashew cheese and a tattoo session?

Thinking about grabbing a death wish from Marino, was there any issues with this frame other than them not getting to customers?

Apparently it can only get the first 7 gears as the chain runs on the stays when in bigger gears.

Are you serious? I thought it had asymmetrical stays to counter this?

I know one of their sponsored riders had that issue. Maybe his was a prototype and they fixed it for both of the production ones.

Surely 'chain on stays' depends on the cassette and front ring in use?

Maybe ask Marino for confirmation, he has the drawings, he should have done CAD clearances.

Is the final design Marino's rather than Sick's? If so you'd hope all will be good. As long as you don't run those carbon cranks that are fatter than normal.

Plus someone iirc ripped downtube shock mount off iirc

Or down tube folded???

Pretty sure that was a Death From Above.

The tube folded on the Ti death from above that came from a catalogue. Nothing to do with Marino.
