I have a maxxis minion 26 x 2.4 presta rim and i have a maxxis minion that is 26 x 2.5 scharaeder rim
i want to carry one spare with me that will fit in both wheels - but i see most tubes are
26 x 2.2 - 2,4 presta ( not up to the 2.5 )
or 26 x 1.75/2.5 Schrader Tube ( wont fit in presta )

is there a presta tube that is 26 x 2.2 - 2.5 ?
or a presta that cover the 2.4 and 2.5 range??

and ideas would be great

i see continental makes a
Continental 26 x 1.75-2.5 Tube (42mm Presta Valve)

but got bad reviews with many valve isues and punctures.. any thoughts

I used a 26 inner on my 29er, and 27,5 wheels, leftover from the old days, it did stretch enough but works fine, you are overthinking it

Rubber stretches, I use a 18-23mm on my road bike while using 25 or 28mm tires. Or 2.0-2.25 tubes on 2.35 tires. It's not that big of deal. Plus, a smaller tube takes up less space while you're not using it. It is for emergencies for that matter.

Get a presta tube it fits both. Your LBS may carry the plastic adapters to 'safely' run a presta valve in a schraeder rim? I'd run a DH tube.

I ran a 2.0-2.4 tube in a 4" fat tire for 2 years before I had to replace it, so a 2.4" tube will certainly accommodate a 2.5" tire. Id get a presta valve adapter for your Schrader drilled rim. Now you just need to carry one 2-2.4" presta tube. Boom
