Someone has probably answered this already, but how do you prevent automatic links from forming in trail and area descriptions? For instance, if I want a description to refer to climbing a big "hill," but "hill" is also a part of the name of another trail in the region, then I end up with a hyperlink to that other trail, when I'm not referring to that trail--I just want to mention a hill on the current trail. In other words, how do I avoid the addition of automatic links?

If you place an exclamation before the word, it will prevent an auto link.

Ok, that works, but then there is a ! showing right before the word.... Is there a way to escape the exclamation point or not have it show somehow?

It shouldn't, can you link the page you're trying to edit.

The word "switchbacks" in the trail description will link to another trail in the area called "Switchback." When I add the exclamation point, the link goes away, but I still see the exclamation point.

I think I've fixed a bug related to this.
