But dropping it in the chromag thread wouldn’t be a bad thing

I would have but aren't on the Chromag thread - maybe I should be as i'm a fan.

Looks like a steel version is in the works which would be nice.

No need, I still like my Starling more - Less bearing, no Trunion.

Think it has a press fit BB?

Interestingly the Rootdown has a pressfit and Stylus has a threaded...

I'm defo a threaded kinda guy.

Been on my Rootdown for a third season and still no creaks or issues with my pressfit. Probably because I spent the money on a Hope BB. Bombproof BB.

It just goes to show, it comes down to luck!

My raceface bbs were garbage. Every 3 months I’d be buying new ones. I’ll stick to enduro or hope.

Pyro - are you running Hollowtech cranks? I've done a little googling and there are other who have had similar issues on Hollowtech cranks - no solutions tho...

Apologies all for wandering off topic.

Had the issue with a GXP crank running an adaptor originally. The other Hope BB is mated to a XTR 980 crank on the girlfriends Ibis...and clicking the same way.
