Hi All,

I have less than 2 years on this BB but a lot of rides on it. Looks like the left side bearing is failing. Anybody have the specs on the bottom bracket? I am considering upgrading to a Raceface. Any comments?

2 years is fine for a Shimano BB
I replace mine every year as a matter of course.

Just get another one. They're cheap and work well.

More expensive bbs will last longer but will also need more tlc. The Shimano's are not serviceable so just bin them when they're tired and get a new one.

Original spec: Shimano BB-MT800-PA (Deore XT-Serie) PressFit BB92

With aprox. 25$ online price i wouldn't bother with switching to double or triple priced Raceface, just change when bearing start failing...
