Santa Cruz Bronson - Alu S, or C R build?

Hi guys,

I'm just about to pull the trigger on a new bike and really can't decide between the aluminium S build, or the carbon R build.

Has anyone ridden both, or have either of them to get opinions?

What do the Yari's, NX drivetrain etc ride like in comparison?

I'm not lucky enough to have any bike shop close to me to see one in person, so if someone has good pictures of either model I'd appreciate it, particularly the Aluminium S build as I can't seem to find pictures anywhere.

I can't help but be shallow and think the carbon frame looks considerably better! The welds etc don't bother me, just the shape of the frame itself is nicer. Understandably it can't be matched with the tubing properly. lol

I've ridden the 2018 Bronson v2 in carbon and alum and I can't tell a difference in ride. You won't regret getting the alum. I would much rather get better components, which the alum S has.
