The angleset affects the headtube angle, seattube angle, wheelbase, stack height, and BB height.
I've ridden the Intense Carbine now for more than a year and installed the angleset in November of 2018 and have loved it with the changes, but with steep seattube angles it leaves me wanting compared to my Carbine.
One of the worries would be having to switch out my boost rear hub for a 157 super boost and getting my wheel rebuilt, and the other concern is the seattube length which is 460mm on the Spartan while my Carbine has a 448mm seattube.
My LBS can order a frame in for me, but does not keep a complete Spartan 29 in their shop as Devinci doesn't sell well for them, so I have no way to demo and try out a Spartan 29 to see what I think of it.
I need input from Devinci Spartan 29 owners please.
What's driving you to update your ride? What are your highest priorities in a new bike? You mentioned the seat tube angle; how much steeper are you looking to go? Anything else?

Steeper seattube angle for a more comfortable position when climbing, and more travel. With the Spartan 29, I'd have 3 degrees steeper of a seattube angle and 165mm rear travel with a 2.5" tire. I considered upstroking my Carbine to gain more travel in the rear, but the downside of that is less tire clearance and it affects the seattube angle by half a degree.
On my Carbine I'm running 2.5" Maxxis DHF DH rated tires both front and rear on ENVE M930 rims with DT Swiss 240S hubs. With 30mm of spacers underneath my stem. Handlebars are 790mm wide with 46mm rise, 30mm length stem, saddle slammed forward (to make up for the slack seattube angle.) 175mm cranks, 203mm rotors front and rear, with 150mm dropper, Eagle drivetrain with a 32T chainring.
