Is the bottlerocket 1300 with shock? And as for the commencal being to much you get what you pay for (wich is a pimp frame) you also get a sealed 1.5 headset, a sun ringle hub. and a chain guide. Go with the furious unless you don have the cash.

i have the exact same problem- for u i would say giv'r for the bottle rocket- same stuff almost as the sx trail but it has a dhx 5.0 on it...also im thinking about that or a 2007 stinky primo with marz 66 (custom, its in my faves) for 2500?

SX Trail II for 2008 comes with a DHX5.0 as well...

hey i have a bottlerocket and i dont no what type of riding you are doing but it can take as much abuse as you can especially with a coil shock(i have the air) but i can dj it hella well and freeriding is not problem either. its not that heavy i built mine up at 36 pounds and if i had some lighter parts i coulda made it like 34. do what you want i dont no much about the furious but i love my bottlerocket
