Hello I have a patrol 2019 carbon with a fox dpx2 and I would like to know if another owner of patrol or sentinel we try something other than the dpx2. My suspension makes funny noise and after a rebuilt of fox it does not change anything. If you have a patrol or sentinel with something other than a dpx2 said me your opinion thank you

If you want the best of the best consider a Push Industries shock, heard they are next level

I changed the stock Deluxe to a Super Deluxe a couple of months ago and it feels quite similar in terms of damping. Both lack mid-stroke support and ramp up even with max tokens. The 2018-2019 Patrol is fairly linear so shocks with smaller air chambers work best. If you are an aggresive rider I would stick to the DPX2 but if you ride more mellow trails and aren't very aggressive I would upgrade to the Float X2 as it has a better midstroke compared to the Super Deluxe.
