Who's doing Maxiavalanche in Meribel this year

Hi all

I'm seriously considering doing the Maxiavalanche race in Meribel this year.

I live in France and happen to have a week off that fits perfectly, it seems a shame not to do it to be honest !

I've never raced before !, I've done an odd day in morzine, and ridden local trials to me (when I lived in Argeles sur Mer) but other than that it'll be a whole new experience!

I'll be on a 2013 Lapiere Zesty 514, I've serviced the forks this morning (only about 20ml of oil came out!), experimenting with tubeless set up tomorrow. I've booked a days guided riding near to me (basque country) later this month. Just need to buy a full face helmet and book on !

ANyone else from this forum doing the race or got any advice ?
