New to the site I have a question about enduro bikes for bigger guys. I am a 300+ lbs guy. I have been looking at Santa Cruz megatower, Yeti sb150, or Pivot firebird 29. What are some opinions for bigger riders?
Or is it worth putting money into my trek hifi deluxe and putting stronger components on it?
What components would be better to upgrade to ie. hubs, cranks, bottom bracket, dropper posts, front and rear suspension.

Thank you for any help and advise given.

If your budget includes those bikes I’d go
With a new bike

As a big guy you’re always going to be hard on components. As they break, it would be worth looking at e-bike spec upgrades.

I would advise against the Yeti at your size, your tires will be rubbing your stays (not enough clearance and too much flex). The Spartan would be a good option for a bigger guy.
Also I feel it would be very hard to get the rear end of the Megatower right at your weight, would likely need a different rear shock, otherwise that bike is friggin solid.
