Looking for a good 30mm rim choice for a 2019 Santa Cruz 5010 27.5". The following are in my price range and have similar price and weights, except the Spank 350 seems to be the standout in weight.

DT Swiss XM 481 490g
Spank Oozy Trail 345 Bead Bite 480g
Spank Oozy Trail 350 Bead Bite 465g
Stan's MK3 Flow 480g
Race Face ARC Offset 493g

I actually already have a custom wheelset on order with DT 350 hubs, DT Champion Race spokes, and Race Face ARC Offset rims, but the rims are on backorder. Not necessarily looking to change my order just to speed things up, but figure I should use the time to consider alternatives, and the builder can use any of the above (I'm using Colorado Cyclist).

I went with the Race Face ARC Offset because that's also what my 5010 ships with, and I like the idea of offset rims, at least in concept. Still not sure how much offset matters in the real world.

BTW, I'm about 170lbs and ride cross / trail / all mountain. Not terribly aggressive. I'm 55, so my rims are likely to withstand hard hits a lot better than my body will, thus I avoid them.

I’ve had Stan’s flow for a year. Bomb proof so far.

Same here. 2nd set, first was 27.5 and now 29's paired to I9's.

I am 50, so not far behind ya. LOL

Not in your list but worth a look.

I've had really good success with Tairin wheels out of Vancouver.

The Tairin duty wheel is 20 grams heavier but its bomber and a Canadian company. Also Tairin is amazing to deal with for customer service and have a solid crash replacement plan.

The rims are 120$

BTW, I just notice that the Stans and Spank only come in 32-hole. Was planning on 28-hole 3-cross.
