Swapping calipers with guide ultimate levers

I have a set of guide ultimates on my bike, and of course they are giving me problems. My questions is, instead of swapping the entire set and having to replace a lot of good parts (in all honesty the levers/master cylinder is super nice, just the calipers suck ass) could I just swap calipers for a set of DOT calipers? Trickstuff, hope, and Hayes all have dot brakes but I have no idea if I could use one of their calipers with sram levers. Also are the G2 calipers compatible?

Any help is apppciated and I thank you very much in advance.

In theory, providing you can get the right fittings, they would work (although Trickstuff doesn't make DOT calipers anymore, they've switched to mineral oil a while back), but maybe not to the best of the brake ...

If you just want more power, get a pair of Code calipers, it'll work just fine. Same fittings, same hose, still DOT, ...

Also try the SRAM warranty department, they might just fix them (whatever the problem is) if they're not too old.
