Your bearings in the hub are ok? No cracks in your rear hub? There could be cracks in your rear hub internally- i would pull your hub apart and take a look inside. Doesn't matter if the wheel is new or not- sometimes hubs arent put together correctly

yep they are okay. rim and spokes are new.
Hub is in use at least year
but I will try to look on internals of it too

You need to look inside your hub- you are trying to rule out all problems, many people offer all suggestions but you never pull your hub apart? And you say your noise is coming from the center of the wheel. Ok, so yeah, pull your hub apart and check everything.... makes sense no?

Possibly your ratchet system in your freehub is dry or requiring lubricating.

Sorry for late reply.
It seems that issue has been resolved.

My guess is that on the second tooth of the pawls was some buildup of some sort of gunk.
hub is two phase of 3 pawls. two of them was engaged and third makes this noise.

Thank you all for input and help.
Hope this will thread will help to solve similar problems Smile

cheers

Glad I worked it out- good to know, next time you have noise coming from the center of your wheel, it might be a good idea to check your hub! and stop wasting everybody's time! Common sense (rare sense for most) prevails...
