It's unwritten but known, professionals run their suspension firm and fast - but is there someone in the field playing things differently?

It's noted that Bruni's bike looks stuck to the floor, partly because he's a brilliant rider, but also with what is going on with his suspension.

So what is going on? Could it be he's running a softer spring rate up front with lots of low-speed compression and a fast rebound?

Or is it similar to everyone else's (relatively) but tweaked to utter perfection using both telemetry and working with Ohlins?

Spring and damping are diffferent things that work in different ways to achieve different results. Definitely you could play a bit with both, but not to the point where you run "more damping and less spring" to achieve the same firmness or whatever. His suspension is just perfectly setup for his riding style, hence the smooth look.

Also keep in mind these guys are riding mind blowing speeds in very rough terrain (even Les Gets you might think it's smooth grass, it's not, watch slow mo). Their suspension is probably hard AF compared to an average person to deal with those hits.
