Hi, does anyone know if its possible to create a 3D map overlay display similar to that used for the UCI downhill world cup course preview? If so, how?

Thanks

I'm not sure how to do it on Trail Forks but the guys in Nepal used Google Earth to set up their map for their Enduro race earlier this year. So maybe reach out to them for how they did that.
You can also take a look at OpenStreet Maps and configure the routes using the topo settings. But it won't be 3D...

Okay, figured out another potential option. If you navigate to the Chiang Mai region on TrailForks.com and then notice the silver tabs above the map, click on “more” and then from the drop down menu click “3D Map”. This will give you a nice 3D map of the area. It’s a nice start to your solution.

Okay, finally found it. After a ride has been recorded/imported to Trail Forks a “Ride Log” is created. If you view that specific ride log, on the right side, down under “Details” and “Trails” are some buttons for for viewing options. One of them is “3D Tour” - click that and you’ll find what you are looking for.
