So this happened yesterday. The air spring shaft was blown out completely from the container. I was just a little bit nose heavy while landing. Asked 3 bike shops but none of them can give an opinion of whether it can be fixed.

Any input is appreciated! ThanksSmile

It looks to me like your lowers are ruined. The part of the casting where the shaft sits and seals the lowers has been blown out. Your air shaft is probably ruined as well. The air shaft needs to have a pretty smooth surface to not leak air and it needs to be straight so it doesn't bind. Chances are good that it is pretty scratched up from blasting through that casting and it may be bent as well. My guess is you will need to get some lowers and an air shaft to fix this fork. Depending on the condition of the stanchions and if you like the damper it might be worth looking at a newer fork.

@spoo Thank you! Guess it's time for an upgrade.
