Looking at my next do all bike in the 150-170, going to be doing most of my riding on the front range of Colorado (golden, boulder, etc).

Some hard and fast rules for me
- No 29ers
- No single pivots (In the past I've enjoyed VPP, DW, and Marin's old Quad link designs. )
- Ideally a carbon frame

Riding style:
Like techy stuff and going fast, but not a racer or hucker anymore.

So I've narrowed it down to basically three companies based on past experiences, and local shops that carry and could demo (but don't want to spend hundreds of dollars renting...)

Specialized Enduro (rode one 2 years back that I loved) or Stumpy Evo
SC Nomad or Bronson
Yeti SB6 (yay it just got discontinued....)

Thoughts?

Have you considered Rocky Mountain? Personally, I haven’t ridden anything else that does “Do It All” better than Rocky Mountain bikes. Altitude or Slayer could be just what you’re looking for.

Have heard that this is a problem on the Altitude

Watching this thread, in same position. Would add Transition Patrol to the list

I can honestly say I have not seen that one.
