Wondering if many people had swapped out SoloAir spring to the Debonair spring and if so what other changes they you made to the settings?
I ride a large Intense Spider 275 with a 140mmm Pike. I'm 6ft and ~165 lbs. With SoloAir I ran the spring at 55psi, with no compression, rebound 5 clicks back from fastest and 2 air tokens. Since installing the Debonair spring I initially upped the pressure to 65psi and it felt way too harsh so now I've backed it down to 60psi. I feel I need that to hit 30% sag, any less I go past 30%.
Small bump feels like it got worse after the new spring was installed but in other ways the Debonair feels great, doesn't dive under braking, takes bigger hits nicely and feels more stable through jumps. Perhaps I need to add a third token and drop pressure further? Does anyone else have experience of this?
I will add that I run my 2.4" front tire tubeless at 23 +/-2 psi depending on the trail.
Thoughts?
