All these new Activity Types and no "Downhill" or "Lift Served"? I know I can change my bike type to DH but I don't want the miles and vertical from riding up a lift to count towards my season totals...

This is not going to happen, it's all mountain biking.

We already detect and minus chair lifts and shuttles (via a pause) and minus that from your distance and climb totals. The matching against chair lifts isn't perfect, and the lift needs to be properly tagged on OSM. So for better results just pause and start your GPS recording on the lift or shuttle, the elevation and distance will be subtracted.
