It's a very nice bike. It "had my back" on a "new to me" trail in the worst conditions I've cycled in for ages. It looks lovely too. I found it a bit harder to get around the berms on some of the man-made trails around here compared to my existing bike (2014 27.5 Norco Sight) and the Ripmo. It climbed quite nicely for such a big bike, but wasn't as fast as the Ripmo. All my mates who tried the HT2 really liked it.

One potential problem (perhaps only on my test bike) was the the chain kept getting caught in between the smallest sprocket and the frame. I tried adjusting the limit screws on the rear mech and it kept happening (even when it was over-adjusted and it was hard to get into the smallest gear). Also, the Code brakes needed bleeding after ride three of the four days on test; I'd have got the shop to pop some different brakes on had I bought it.
