The water bottle mount that doubles as cable guide...you can't put a water bottle on it.

The water bottle base HITS the shock AND the water spout hits the frame.

So...they made a bike that you can't put a water bottle on with mounts. How stupid do you have to be???

You can get a smaller bottle or a bigger frame Razz

On my wife's bike we used a Wolf Tooth B-RAD Half Bottle Adapter to put it over to the side. Before that we used a specialized z cage and a half size bottle.

ANY water bottle cage hits the shock reservoir.

Hi all,

I've just ordered a 2022 Process 153 DL in XL. It's still in transit but I'm just trying to work some things out before it gets here.

Can anyone confirm the crank length on the XL?

I'm 99% certain they are the same length for all sizes - and they are probably all 170mm.

Any idea if a 203mm rotor would work on the rear of a Process 153 29er? XL if it makes a difference. I see they are used on the X. Wondering about base AL frame.

Of course, with the right brake mount adapter.

Hi all,

I've got a 2019 27.5 Process cr/dl and ever since I've swapped to Shimano xt 8120 4 piston brakes, I've had insane resonance and vibration in the rear swing arm under braking. I've tried different shimano brakes, different wheels and different rotors. Nothing seems to fix the problem.

I'm curious to know if anyone else has experienced this problem and has a solution.

Cheers!

I had this issue on my 2021 Process X. Like another poster, I added stick on wheel weights. Not on the brake itself (figured that would get too hot for adhesive?), but on the brake mount side.

So far, just one stick on 1/4 oz weight seems to do the trick.

The Cascade link for the Process increases the travel to 160mm using their linkage. You can also keep your shock. It will also increase the progressivity of the rear suspension also.

The Cascade Link is for the G2 process 2018-2020. G3 is not available (2021+)

The G3 isn’t even out yet. It’s a new to be 2024 model.

Seams like the 2021-2023 models would be considered a G3, since it is the next generation after the G2.

Nothing changed on them though. The 2018 is the same as this years minus a few tweaks here and there. The G3 will be all new and more in line with process x with the adjustable chain stays, mullet capabilities. The G3 was supposed to be a 2022 but never made it due to Covid mess. Had one on order for a customer back in 2021 that never came and still isn’t here

As a multi-generation process owner, the time has come for me to turn my back. I saw the new G3's and the geo charts. nothing extreme. Very middle of the road and expensive. Seems like they are just trying to copy some other bikes out there. Kona has fallen off...

Nothing aside from an entirely new frame that is completely incompatible. Sure the parts are similar, they are bike parts.
