Fox 40 2015 and Fox 49 lowers. Will it fit???

Pls, let me know is it possible to convert my 26" fox 40 2015 into 29" with Fox 49 lowers.
I can't find any info about fox forks lowers compatibility.

Nope, it's not only a question of lower legs. Airspring and damper cardridges lenght differs too.

Im not absolutely sure about a 2015 fork but I know for sure all 27.5 forks can fit fox 49 lowers to make it a 29, I asked fox directly and said yes it can be done but I’m not sure about the older forks I have a 2017 and 2020 fox 40
