Just had my shock off the bike for service and noticed that the upper eyelet bushing feels a bit loose. Does anyone know if you can buy just the plastic bushings (preferably in Canada)? Are they a standard size?

I see that Ibis sells the whole mounting hardware kit for $40 USD, but I don't see why I'd need to replace the metal parts too.

Any bike shop should have those. Standard Igus eyelet bushings.

Sweet build! I use the Oneup bashguide and it fits without any interference.

Hi guys

I'm changing the Jade X from my Ripmo AF for an air shock, and I'm in doubt between 3 options:

- DVO Topaz used from an Ripmo V2;
- Cane Creek DB Air IL, new;
- Rockshox Super Deluxe Ultimate RCT Debonair, new but with L/L setup;

Any thougths about what is the best choice?

I want a bike that's agile and that's better for climbing.

Cane Creek IL would be my choice, performance wise. I love the Topaz because I can easily service it myself. I ride a lot and I'm a cheap bastard, so thats a lot of points toward dvo stuff.

The topaz has been bomb proof and is very poppy IME. No experience with cane creek.

Ridden the RS but not on the AF but it is a good shock. I think the fact that the topaz is tuned for your setup makes it a good choice

I haven't cracked it open to see for myself, but the 2022 Ripmo AF comes with the Marz Z1 coil. I found a manual online that seems to imply the Z1 can be made to be 150mm,160mm or 170mm just by the position of the two internal spacers. Is there any reason to suspect that turning my Ripmo AF into a 170mm isn't just as simple as moving a spacer around? Ibis wouldn't have intentionally removed one from the fork for some reason, right?

My decision also goes onto the DVO, due to the fact that it is tuned for the Ripmo.

I'm very reluctant regarding the CC DBair cause of the complication of tunings. I prefer simple tuning shocks over complex ones, although I recognize the quality of the CC DBair

Here my new RAF! Very very good feeling after first ride! After a year on a Levo SL the uphill was quite a pain but worth it for the descent! Now its time to plan some summer trips to Finale or other alps venue!

Has anyone ever tried putting a carbon rear triangle on their AF?

Like, why would you de-asf*ck-it like that? Probably works, though.

I just watched the video about Neko putting a carbon rear on his bike and it sparked curiosity.
