. Ok so this question again in which bike this and what........just your thoughts and ideas, opinions etc please

Im putting funds together to get a bike hardtail again (miss riding so much) fund wise well depends £950 to £1300 at a push, mainly a hardtail.
Im trying to decide which bike to consider as ive narrowed it down to few bikes now. Has to have good geometry and spec for value for money. So I have shortlisted a good few bikes now but for the love can i not decide. First i also describe my riding style.

I love railing berm fast. I enjoy steep techy sections. I like rock garden and roots and interesting challenging terrain. I ride in the Uk if any help. I ride red and blacks at Stainburn forest, Dalby forest ( for thise who know these forests) and be going to few more places like it. I do like the down hill rough stuff. I enjoy fast descents too. I do need to get uphill but don't have to be a xc style uphill as my fitness wont allow it haha. I do do few jumps and some drops but im choosey and nothing big any more.

so heres the list of bikes.

Trek Roscoe 7 2020 in Teal ( nice colour) £950 and has good spec, 12 spd, dropper but upgrades would be forks to make the font end bit higher in the head angle as 67.3 still fraction steep. Im thinking of 140 to 150 mm. the brakes and certainly the tyres for upgrades. Not fussed about QR on rear as ridden free ride bikes with qr and never had problem (Yeti Asx)

Commencal meta am ht ride 2020 £1200 , the geo seem spot on and would just need to upgrade brakes, dropper and tyres. so long run cheaper on upgrades. has 12spd and 150mm forks ( currently my fave)

Specialised fuse 2020cat £999 upgrades is I would need upgrade to 12 spd at some point but wouldn't need todo much has solid back end and dropper etc.

other idea is the new Calibre bossnut as has good specs for money for full sus, I heard good things about them,

Last yr had a Trek Roscoe 8 2018 which i did upgrade but due to circumstances had to sell it BUT the frame was one size lil too small and although had 120mm forks i did ride reds and blacks fine, maybe not as fast as like but did.

just cant decide really as he question remains do i need 150mm travel bike 29er
or go with more trail oriented bike 120mm / 130mm travel bike

jus wondered any ones thoughts.
