Anyone tried running 27.5 plus (ish) tires on a Ripmo? I've got a set of Reynolds 36mm carbon wheels with 2.6 tires front and rear (DHF, DHR2) and curious if anyone has played with this combo. I know the frame has clearance I'm just curious about the change in geo and specifically if the BB will be way too low to be worth trying it. Any help is appreciated !

It certainly was not intended to run 27.5+

Mojo 3 or hd4 is what you’re probs needing

Thanks, I already own a Ripmo which is why I'm interested.

2.6 is NOT a plus tire. You could try a 2.8 Maxxis Rekon+. The Rekon+ at 23psi measured to be about 2.72" wide and has about 4mm larger diameter to the 2.6 Rekon but no where near a 2.3-2.4 29er tire diameter. How do I know this? I own a Mojo 3, tried 2.8 Rekon+, 2.8 DHR-DHF and end up with 2.6 Rekon and Bontrager XR4 Tean Issue.
