I'm not connected with them and not trying to shill the company, but I just took the one-day Trek Series bike camp on Sept 13th. If you're starting out, especially if you're older and no longer invulnerable and immortal, I highly recommend this. Had fun, learned things, biked for eight hours, moaned in agony the next day. All good.

There are other bike camps in the Whistler area as well, probably just as good. Not a waste of time at all.

Wicked. This is exactly what I'm looking for. Thank you.

Very cool BUT... they don't seem to have it in Illinois. I found this one https://sandiegomountainbikeskills.com/ that has classes in Illinois but the earliest is April 2020.

It's a bit pricey though, at almost $800 for 2 days. I'm very aware I need to boost my skills and I'm very tempted so we'll see...

Any decent quality bike camp is one of best investments, far better than new gear for average Joe. Too bad average Joe usually invest into gear thinking that will make them better rider Big Grin
