I'm looking for a great dirt jump bike under 500 USD. Any recommendations?

I'm in the same boat buddy. I rented one at my local park and I'm ruined now lol

Yeah, I'm either thinking of the free agent salire or or a used bike on here. I really want a new one just cause of wear and tear found on most used bikes.

The problem is at that price range you will be replacing parts on a new bike, they cheap out the fork and wheels especially, so you may be better getting used with better fork/wheels, depends on riding, if you are smooth and just pumptracking vs dj and street riding

Yeah, exactly what I was thinking.

Pretty sure the Verde DJ is one of the most affordable completes out there. A guy locally has one and f’n shreds it with ill style.

No such thing- unless you find someone desperate to sell second hand...

Of the 3 complete DJs I've bought 2nd hand, none were over $500 including shipping.

• 2009 Atomlab pimp2 complete and stock, $350 shipped off Ebay
• 2009 Haro Steel Reserve stock complete - sub $400 shipped. Bought it here.
• 2011 Specialized p1 stock complete approx $450 shipped. Bought it here.

Each of these bikes were near new condition and purchased in the last 3years. The Atomlab and P1 were like 1/4 of new price. The Haro I paid a bit more with regards to what it went for when new, but it was still a good deal as the bike was virtually perfect cond.

Keep looking, know what you want and dont rush into a purchase.

A lightly used DJ is the best way to get under $500.

I bought my Dirt Jumper for 500.

I've never had a nicer Dirt Jumper bike, so I cant really compare it, But it's worked great for me.

People comment that it looks like a really nice bike all the time too, if that makes a difference.

That being said, you can probably find a nice bike secondhand like others have mentioned.

Anyways, Here's the link
